Accidents, Theft, and Break-In
- All accidents must be reported immediately to an administrator.
- An Employee Accident on the Job Report must be completed within 24 hours.
- Employees must follow their health carrier’s policies to be treated for an accident on the job.
- Employees must have health insurance through the Board to be fully covered for accident on the job medical benefits.
- If an employee, while at work, is exposed to blood or other body fluids, Employee Relations must be notified immediately.
- If an act of theft/break-in/vandalism occurs off campus, a police report must be filed and a copy of that police report must be given to an administrator immediately.
- If an act of theft/break-in/vandalism occurs on campus, and is due to employee negligence (door left open, items left in the open, etc.), the employee will be responsible for replacing the item.
