Hall Passes

  1. During instructional time, NO students should be in the hallway during the first fifteen and last fifteen minutes of any class period. 
  2. BTW's Hall protocol for students in grades 6-9 is for the teacher to buzz the office and ask for a restroom escort
  3. BTW's Hall protocol for students in grades 10-12 is for the teacher to buzz the office and let them know the name of the student leaving, then type the student's name in the Hall Pass GroupMe.
  4. Hall passes should not be given to students to run errands for the teacher, to run personal errands for a student, or to get school supplies from a friend.
  5. If it is determined that a student has to legitimately has to go to the restroom during the instructional period, the teacher must ring the main office and tell the secretary the student’s name and destination.
