Hall Passes
- During instructional time, NO students should be in the hallway during the first fifteen and last fifteen minutes of any class period.
- BTW's Hall protocol for students in grades 6-9 is for the teacher to buzz the office and ask for a restroom escort
- BTW's Hall protocol for students in grades 10-12 is for the teacher to buzz the office and let them know the name of the student leaving, then type the student's name in the Hall Pass GroupMe.
- Hall passes should not be given to students to run errands for the teacher, to run personal errands for a student, or to get school supplies from a friend.
- If it is determined that a student has to legitimately has to go to the restroom during the instructional period, the teacher must ring the main office and tell the secretary the student’s name and destination.
