2nd Semester Welcome Back Email
Send a welcome email FROM YOUR SCS EMAIL ADDRESS to each of your parents using the template below by Monday, January 3, 2022 at 5:00 pm. Enter YOUR email in the "To" column, add myself and Stewart (HS) or Stubbs (MS) in the "CC" column, and add all parent emails in the "BCC" column.
COPY AND PASTE THE TEMPLATE BELOW. THE SUBJECT OF THE EMAIL SHOULD READ "WELCOME BACK TO (Enter your CLASS SUBJECT) WITH (Enter TEACHER NAME)" & ENTER YOUR INFORMATION WHERE PROMPTED AND ATTACH A COPY OF YOUR COMPLETED SYLLABUS.
Greetings Warrior Parents!
My name is _______, and you are receiving this email because your scholar is enrolled in my __________ class for the 2nd Semester. Some schedule changes may still occur over the next two weeks, but I have been told that this will be rare. I am so excited about the opportunity to work with your child, and I am even more excited to be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning each day as I am committed to making sure we have a successful year together. I am attaching a copy of my course syllabus, so you are aware of what to expect the 3rd quarter.
Because all students received an SCS device, your student is required to bring his/her device to my class each day. The first (bellwork) and last (Exit Ticket) assignments of each day must be completed electronically. There may be other electronic assignments to complete as well. Failure for students to bring his/her device could result in them falling behind or possibly failing my class. I am confident that any problems that may arise can be solved with communication. Staying connected and maintaining an open line of communication has served my classes well, and it will be critical this year. As questions arise, feel free to contact me via this email address. This is always the quickest way to reach me. I have tutoring every _________ until 4:30 PM. Once school is dismissed, students must report to the GYM and I will pick them up from there to escort them back to my classroom for tutoring. At 4:30 PM, I will walk all tutoring students out the front doors.
BTW’s motto is, “We’re TOPS! We Lead and Others Follow!” Thanks again for “leading” alongside me for your scholar's success. I look forward to working with you this year!
Best Regards,
